EaterWire: Samosa House Hits Culver City, New Signage at Holly's West, Kay 'n Dave's Opens

New, 7 comments

CULVER CITY— Per local buzz, signs for a new Samosa House location in Culver City have popped up at the intersection of Washington and Overland in the vacated space that once housed Winchell's Donuts (and, inexplicably, signs for a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in the interim which never came into fruition). The new space will simply house a restaurant, as opposed to the restaurant and market in Mar Vista, and will remain vegetarian/vegan. Brace for an opening mid-August. [EaterWire] —YI

SANTA MONICA— Looks like things are shaking up at the old Holly's West location at 2460 Wilshire. Fresh signage reads Angel's plus new paint and window awnings were spied. [EaterWire]

CULVER CITYKay 'n Dave's newest location finally started service today. Restaurant number 4 for the mini-chain boasts a fire pit, over 70 tequilas, and two patios. [EaterWire]
