Eater Tracking: Thyme Prepping for Debut, Lazy Dog No. 4, Updates from Tender Greens Hollywood, MORE

New, 2 comments

Santa Monica: Since the last Thyme update about a month ago, signage has been erected and the cafe/market/bakery interior is taking shape. Think lots of painted white wood, a white marble deli counter, a refrigerated case off to the left plus confirmed seating directly in front. [EaterWire]

Thousand Oaks: Headed to the Oaks Mall is location four of The Lazy Dog Cafe, slated to open this Friday July 17. Owner Chris Simms certainly has a full plate. He recently opened Simmzy's, plans to open Tin Roof Bistro later this month, plus has a slew of additional Lazy Dog Cafes in the works. [EaterWire]

Hollywood: No too long after opening up in West Hollywood, Tender Greens is at it again, this time in Hollywood. Though the original estimated opening date was "early summer '09," construction has been delayed at the Sunset-Vine Tower with a new approximated debut later this September/October. Though the menu will resemble that of the previous two locations, the Hollywood menu will offer several menu items exclusive to the new eatery. [EaterWire]

Pasadena: Brigham Yen shares a ton of recent goings on up North. 1) Green Street Tavern is taking over a space next door (65 W. Green St.) and will expand its dining room. 2) After a "Closed for Maintenance" hand-written sign was placed on the door at Seoul Bros. Korean Grill, the restaurant has morphed into Cham Korean Bistro. 3) Euro Pane Bakery is currently in negotiations to open a second location in the Montana Residences, but nothing is set in stone just yet. 4) And lastly, Choza Mama Peruvian Cuisine & Bakery has put up signage in the old Hooters space at 96 E Colorado Blvd. Construction is underway, and help is wanted.
