DOWNTOWN— On October 10 Jonathan Gold will host his self-titled Union Station Cocktail Party to benefit Zocalo Public Square. And this isn't your typical foodie event. Tickets cost a pretty penny, $300 for yourself or $500 per couple, and for that CUT, Palate Food + Wine, Comme Ca, Providence, and Rivera will feed you, while Mr.Downtown, Cedd Moses, provides the libations. Hopefully libations from Varnish, because cocktail god Eric Alperin will be in attendance as well. [EaterWire]
CENTURY CITY— In celebration of peaches everywhere, Craft has organized a seven course peach-intensive tasting menu using local fruit from Masumoto Family Farm. This special unique runs through August at $100 per person. [EaterWire]
