The Dish: Rosa Mexicano, Lemonade

New, 7 comments

Welcome back to the Dish Report, our regular nod to all things new. See something debut that we missed? Just let us know.

1. Downtown: LA Live gets a new addition today, NYC's Rosa Mexicano. Check out the above shots for a preview of the colorful dining room that seats over 200, and unlike other Rosa Mexicanos, has an outdoor patio. Known for its modern take on Mexican fare, RM will serve up the classics that include frozen flavored margaritas, tableside guac, plus other modern Mexican dishes like short ribs with a tomatillo sauce and Mexican peppers. 800 W Olympic Blvd., 213-746-0001; website [EaterWire]

2. Venice: Finally, after weeks of prolonged inspections, the modern cafeteria aka Lemonade opens today at 11:30a. Most details have been shared, but here's a recap: 12 kinds of lemonade, 35 mix and match menu items, valet parking, indoor/outdoor seating, and curbside pick up. See the menu and (finally) come in for lunch today. 1661 Abbot Kinney Blvd.; 310.452.6200; website [EaterWire]
