Plywood Report: Casalinda, Voyeur, plus Lancaster News

New, 4 comments

Venice: Above is an almost completed picture of CasaLinda, the brightly colored Mexican restaurant which has replaced Tortilla Grill on Abbot Kinney. A worker shared this morning that the restaurant will finally open later this week. [PLYWOOD]

West Hollywood: First it was iCandy, then Seven, and last year it became 24K Lounge. Now the odd black rectangular space at 7929 Santa Monica Blvd will reopen once again on September 19 as a club called Voyeur. [PLYWOOD]

Lancaster: Slightly further out of town comes some news from the North. In a few weeks Brooklyn Deli, a Jewish-style deli will open on Lancaster Blvd., in addition to a restaurant called BeX that will have touch screen computers on tables to order food. Also in the works is a bar/lounge tentatively named Ro Sham Bo. [PLYWOOD]
