Last night's EaterWire brought word that Nom Nom Truck had "soft rolled" and was currently moseying about town. An Eater operative spied the truck today and here's the first word: "Ate lunch at the Nom Nom Truck today in Westwood--read on Twitter they were going to be on Gayley and Strathmore, just outside of the UCLA campus. I got a barbecue pork banh mi for $5. Overall, good. The bread was a nice toasted baguette with a good crust to it, and the pork was really good, except for one or two gristly bits. Not really spicy at all, unfortunately (I don't remember seeing any chiles on it), and not enough carrots on the sandwich for my taste." [EaterWire]
