OC— Tim and Liza Goodell are back. After shuttering Red Pearl Kitchen on Melrose, the duo retreated back to Orange County, leaving 25 Degrees at the Roosevelt behind. However, they plan to open two more branches of 25 Degrees, one in Huntington Beach and the other in Newport Beach. The second branch will open in their original Red Pearl Kitchen space on Walnut Ave (in HB), replacing two year old Izakaya Zero. [EaterWire]
VENICE— From the tipline: "Stopped by the new Lemonade on Abbot Kinney and noticed a 'C' health rating on the window hidden behind a bush. It looks like they are not yet listed on the Dept. of health website. Thought you should know." [EaterWire]
