It's still hot, but autumn is (sort of) in the air. Despite many vacant store and restaurant fronts, there is still a ton of plywood action. Surely, the most notable and anticipated opening comes from Mr.Thomas Keller (who was recently spotted out and about) with his Los Angeles debut of Bouchon in Beverly Hills mid-November. So exciting! Also still on the way are a few stragglers that couldn't get it together for their projected August openings, so from that camp remains Casa Linda, Frysmith, Rockwell, The Oaks Gourmet, and Sunnin. Hopefully they'll make it soon enough. Other notable newbies: Lunch, The Point on National, Dillon's Irish Pub, Umami 2 &3, Cafe Habana + Outpost, Bigman Burger, Schmidt’s Brauhaus, First & Hope, The Counter, 140 South, Glass & Mirrors, Lemonade at MOCA, Cheval Blanc, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Buffalo Wild Wings, Fox Sports Grill, East, Philippe, Veggie Grill, Capitol City, House Cafe, T Salon, Marbella, and Sweet Ride Dessert Truck. What else, what else? You tell us. [EaterWire]
