Week in Reviews: Three Whole Stars For Studio at Montage in Laguna

Wow, another three stars report, this week the winner is Studio at Montage in Laguna Beach. Right off the bat SIV gushes about the view of the coastline, and there's just something about the ocean air that tempts the critic:

"No other restaurant in Southern California has this mesmerizing view, and this happy combination of setting, great food, polished service and deep wine list makes Studio at Montage one of the region's true destination restaurants."

Everything just works. Food is "delicious by any standard" from the lightly roasted lobster tail to the wild striped bass with very few dishes that miss their mark. "Wine service is excellent" and desserts are described as "delicate...dreamy...luscious." [LAT]
