HOLLYWOOD— Just a reminder that Friday marks the first day of 8th Annual Feast of San Gennaro. This year's fest will run a full 12 hours, from 11a to 11p, and will be hosted by co-founders Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. Look for yummy Italian bites and maybe get a little bocce in there. More info is available here. [EaterWire]

SANTA MONICA— This week through Sunday Anisette has organized a 6-course tasting menu titled "Basque Week." Diners kick off the meal by trying piperade with farm egg and end with gateau Basque. [EaterWire]

MID-CITY— Looks like Pueblo Viejo on Melrose is up for sale. Though the Mexican eatery is still opened for business, an Eater operative spotted a "for sale/for lease" sign out front. [EaterWire]
