EaterWire: Bella Vista Unlimited Pizza, La Provence Hits Brentwood, Akasha's Bakery Turns Lounge

CULVER CITY— Apparently pizza is not considered junk food in Brazil which explains why a Brazilian might be inclined to open an all-you-can-eat pizza spot. This pizza oasis, Bella Vista, is slated to open within the next couple of months on Venice Blvd and "will serve 35 different types of Italian and Brazilian-inspired pizza (including some dessert flavors), salads, soups, and other Brazilian specialties." BRENTWOOD— Come Tuesday, La Provence Patisserie owner Farshid Hakim will open a new bakery location on San Vicente. The Brentwood sweets depot is significantly larger than the Beverly Hills original and will feature an expanded La Provence menu that includes dinner. [GS]

CULVER CITY— As of this weekend, on Friday and Saturday nights Akasha will transform its bakery into a lounge from 6-10p that will serve a more comprehensive bar menu and craft beer list. [DD]
