More Changes Come To Essex

Hollywood: So, now that executive chef Chris Ennis is out of the kitchen at Essex, a few changes have gone into place. Firstly, the menu has been edited to include fewer entree-sized dishes and more small plate items. Several burgers now appear in addition to a pulled pork sandwich, wings, and bar food of the like. And it doesn't stop there. Owners Greg Link and Hunter Hensley checked out a space next door with thoughts of opening an additional bar, but instead of starting a new project all over again they decided to add a secondary bar to Essex's adjacent dining room. So, watch for that. Lastly, the boys are going East. Next on their list will be a bar in New York City, SoHo to be exact. [EaterWire]
