The Dish: The Veggie Grill, La Provence, Noodle House

New, 1 comment

1) West Hollywood: As of today The Veggie Grill has four locations under its belt, the newest of which is located at the intersection of Sunset and Crescent Heights in 8000 Sunset Strip. Watch for eco-friendly elements like bamboo floors and a strictly veggie menu. It may look like chicken, but it's most definitely not. Also note that curbside pickup is available at this outpost. And on the subject of openings, look for a fifth Veggie Grill location possibly popping up on the West Side in Santa Monica. 8000 Sunset Blvd; 323-822-7575; website

2) Brentwood: Today at 7a La Provence launched its second location with an expanded menu that includes dinner offerings. The new larger space spans 2,500 square feet on the third floor of the Brentwood Gardens and includes al fresco dining on an exterior wrap-around balcony. The restaurant will serve three meals a day opening at 7:30a and closing around 10p, and also now offers beer and wine. For those in need of a caffeine fix, this is the only spot in Brentwood where Intelligentsia coffee and tea is served. 11677 San Vicente Blvd; website

3) SG Valley: Many lamented months ago when it was noted that the famous Noodle House at 958 E. Garvey Ave. had been sold. However, the original owner recently reopened Noodle House in Rowland Heights and serves the same menu in a vastly expanded space. 18219 E. Gale Ave.
