What is it with NYC burger joints expanding these days? Eater NY brings word that P.J. Clarke's, the 130 year-old tavern turned mini chain and burger spot in Manhattan is expanding nationally, with new locations in Vegas and Washington D.C. set to open this June, and a Boston site to follow. All in, they'd like to have branches in ten cities -- plans also include a 65-acre farm set up in Millbrook, N.Y., meant to supply the growing restaurant empire. Though the chain's burgers have been on the decline for a while now, there's always the chance they'll raise the bar with the new project. After all, The characters on Mad Men certainly dig the place. [Eater NY]
