Restaurants on Abbot Kinney come and go but Lilly's is one of the few that has weathered the storm to last over 10 years. Kudos. Regardless, the French cafe and bar recently underwent a redesign creating a new more refined interior with three bar seating areas, newly added booths, a handful of cocktail tables, a fully enclosed main dining room patio for winter al fresco dining (coverings are striped away during warmer weather), also the only legal smoking patio in the area. Five-year chef and co-owner Francis Bey has recrafted the French comfort food bar and dinner menus which will go into effect by February 1. The bar menu offers small bites priced between $3 and $6 with dinner entrees ranging from $14 to $23. Lastly, Lilly's has applied for a full liquor license, stay tuned. [EaterWire]
