Kevin Gillespie No Longer Competing in Bocuse d'Or

Remember how one of the "prizes" for the contestants on last season of Top Chef was the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Bocuse d'Or team, a score that may be more time consuming than anything else? The spot in the semifinals was won by fan favorite Kevin Gillespie. Well, nevermind:

Andrew Friedman—the man who literally wrote the book on Bocuse d'Or USA—notices that Kevin's name has been surreptitiously removed from the semifinalist list and replaced with Jim Burke, executive chef/owner of James restaurant in Philadelphia.
