Bond St in the Thompson Hotel Undergoes Internal Changes: Jonathan Morr Relinquishes Control, New Menus Added

New, 1 comment

It wasn't so long ago that fans of NYC's Bond St. rejoiced to hear that Jonathan Morr planned to bring his East Coast mainstay to Los Angeles. The Asian-inspired restaurant opened about two years ago now, while current chef Brian Redzikowski has been on board with the team since last January. Anyway, the restaurant was obviously owned by Jonathan Morr, but due to unforeseen circumstances, Morr has resigned as commander in chief and LA's Bond St is now owned by Thompson Hotel. What does this mean? Well, it means that the hotel has taken over all food and beverage operations and Redzikowski has become executive chef of the entire property, not just Bond St. He explains that he now has more control of the menus and operation, that the Bond St dinner menu has changed, in addition to the menus throughout the property: "I added some new dishes and removed others to make the menus more my style...The Bond St menu represents me for the most part as I kept a few of the old classics."
