SANTA MONICA— Remember that micro-batch ice cream parlor that Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan (Rustic Canyon, Huckleberry) were planning? Well, the opening for Sweet Rose Creamery has been pushed back to April, a much more weather appropriate month to open an ice creamery. [EaterWire]

While the restaurant is open until 8PM tonight, it will only serve lunch this weekend from 11AM-2PM, then close Monday, open from 5-8PM Tuesday through Thursday, and finally open for both lunch and dinner next Friday.
