Status: Soft opened yesterday
Get your newsboy caps out of the closet? Doughboys is back in action! The popular West Hollywood outpost known for red velvet cake and breakfast foods had been shuttered due to zoning laws and restrictions since 2007, during which time the location on W 3rd Street has become even more of a hot commodity. The cafe soft opened yesterday and will fully debut Monday offering sleek, semi-industrial decor. In the food department, expect many egg options (morning pizza with caramelized onions, pancetta, Swiss cheese, and two eggs baked on top), a wide array of sandwiches from Provencal classic pan bagnat to a Doughboys club, and plenty of sweets including the red velvet cake. Right now Doughboys is in test mode (hence the free food), but starting Monday expect the restaurant to be open from 7AM to 10PM on weekdays and through 11PM on weekends. The website isn’t quite updated, but check back for more info and the full menu soon.
