Eek, Pasadena's Le Cordon Bleu is under fire for supposedly leading prospective students to believe that they will most likely graduate and acquire a "chef" position, though in most cases students are only able to obtain lower kitchen positions like prep and line cook. Furthermore, most students take out loans to pay the lofty education fees, thus are left with huge debts following graduation. When queried on the class action lawsuit, Jeff Leshay, Senior VP of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at CEC (Career Education Corporation, company which owns Le Cordon Bleu), said, "We believe this lawsuit has no merit and the claims are ill-founded, and we intend to defend against it."
