This might sound strange, well, in this day and age it is strange, but up until now Magnolia Bakery has never offered cupcake and banana pudding fans a real digital domain. In the past the bakery has posted an online menu, but that's about it. Weird. Anyway, today the bakery launched its first ever interactive website which includes something deemed a "Cupcake Calendar" with weekly specials and featured cupcakes of the month, an "Events and Wedding" section for custom cakes, a “General Store” with Magnolia garb, and finally early next year the site will allow patrons to order baked goods to be shipped directly to them. So Mid-Western Sex and The City fans who have yearned to try a pastel pink cupcake, this one's for you. [EaterWire]
