Um REALLY? Ever wonder why Michelin stopped publishing its esteemed(?) restaurant review recommendation guide for Los Angeles? In an interview with John Mariani for Esquire, Jean-Luc Naret, director of the Michelin guide empire, states that the guides have ceased publication here because,
"the people in Los Angeles are not real foodies. They are not too interested in eating well but just in who goes to which restaurant and where they sit."WOW, oh no he didn't.
