[EaterWire] LAX— So, who finally landed the coveted real estate inside LAX? On Wednesday the City Council approved Ford's Filling Station, Lemonade, Engine Co. No. 28, Carl's Jr., Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, Homegirl Cafe, Corona Bar & Grill, B Grill by BOA, Klatch Coffee, Natural Break, the Concert Bar, Wolfgang Puck Express and Skewers, a restaurant by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. HOLLYWOOD— A few more details on Hollywood's forthcoming club/lounge, Roxbury. So, basically film producer Elie Samaha took over the establishment previously known as Ivar and divided it in half. Part of the real estate became Hemingway's and the remaining space, which one enters through those gates on Ivar, becomes Roxbury. Upon walking in, guests pass through a garden, enter the venue to the right, in the center is a large circular bar with stadium seating along the perimeter of the room. More to come. [EaterWire]
CROSS COUNTRY— Feast reports on The Feast, an east coast pop-up concept which kicked off last night and will eventually make its way over to this here city. Organized by Alan Philips (of the Guerilla Culinary Brigade) and chef Seamus Mullen (formerly of Boqueria), the three day roving restaurant costs $40,000 to $50,000 to put on each time, in NYC 600 ticket were sold at $85 a pop.
