As of yesterday the official word is in. Last month Eater speculated the end was near, now Borracho Cantina PR confirms that after nine months of business, the Mexican eatery is officially doneski to be replaced by LA's second branch of Rosa Mexicano. Signage announcing this switcheroo goes up today and Rosa is expected to debut spring 2011. Just as a little back story, LA's first outpost of the predominantly east coast modern Mexican chain hit the city last August opening within downtown's LA LIVE complex. So, with regard to expansion, probably makes sense to open in West Hollywood on Sunset.
