J's Kitchen Japanese Vegan Done on Abbot Kinney

Just about two years ago Stroh's Gourmet on Abbot Kinney shuttered, followed shortly thereafter by J's Kitchen, a casual Japanese vegan concept. Unfortunately, not a huge shocker to hear that this eatery, too, has called it quits. Now, file this under complete unconfirmed rumormongering, but Eater hears that 1239 Abbot Kinney is owned by Nancy Silverton's family and that at some point down the line she might take over the space to open up a small take-out spot similar to Mozza 2Go. According to her team nothing is in the works at the moment, but we'll see what happens in the future.
