Spot 5750 Replaces Hollywood Billiards, Opening Nov 6

Back in August came word that Hollywood Billiards had shuttered for renovations with plans to reopen at the end of September. Well, just a tad delayed, on November 6 the retooled pool hall, restaurant, sports bar and arcade debuts as Spot 5750. Much like before, there's still a zillion pool tables, in addition to flat screen tvs to catch the game, plus a new American menu with dishes like watermelon barbecue spare ribs and beer-baked mac and cheese. Hmmm. Interesting. Upstairs think a bottle service type space called ELXR Lounge with a dance floor, "lavish seating," and outdoor patio.
