Swill Automatic Preps Glossy Digs Downtown

While Swill Automatic didn't opened this summer as originally speculated, the downtown enomatic wine bar is finally ready for its first sip. "My goal is October 15-17th, that is knowing we will have some corrections from Health (that inspection is scheduled for today), that should give me enough time to fix them and re-schedule," shares co-owner Poppi Monroe. The space, designed by "Silent Partner Josh," has clearly come a long way since Eater's last inspection. The bright, sleek, modern space boasts an aqua blue floor, a slew of white wooden communal dining/drinking tables to foster friendly conversation with your new neighbor, and of course those enomatic wine systems here and there.

HOWEVER, get this, when Swill debuts, the enomatic systems won't be quite working. Unfortunately there was a problem with the software and so upon its debut all wine will be hand-poured. And if you taste something that tickles your fancy, bottles to go are available.

Jumping over to food offerings, expect a full menu mostly American menu here (risotto, garlic shrimp, "dirty" mussels) crafted by chef Edric Ocampo who previously worked in catering. Think breakfast, lunch, and dinner with service starting at 7AM-midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 7AM-2AM Friday and Saturday nights.
