Wow, what a looker. The second collaborative effort between David Reiss (The Brig, Alibi Room) and Kogi head honcho Roy Choi, A-Frame is just moments from its debut. Situated on Washington Blvd a stones throw from Waterloo & City, the restaurant, composed by Venice-based Knibb Design, claims a former 1,700 IHOP in that traditional A-frame construction, hence the name. This spot is described as a "modern picnic," probably relating to the no utensils rumor Eater heard a while back. Inside the space is retro chic, expect a flood of natural light, "knotty pine" walls, and a copper-topped bar. Say tuned for the official launch.
