So here we have a sneak peek inside 1886, that new bar curated by Aidan Demarest (The Edison, First & Hope) and Marcos Tello (The Vanish, The Edison) behind The Raymond in Pasadena. Enter the smallish space, which feels comfortable and country-esque with that toile wall paper and wood paneling, but also a hint modern via those minimalist metal stools by the communal drinking tables. The bar takes center stage, behind which sits a slew of two-tops in front of a single tufted banquette. While the space looks ready to pour, the official opening is still set for Nov 19.
