Why aren't there more bakeries on Robertson? Perhaps because those who shop on the Boulevard are more concerned with not eating rather than eating? Either way, welcome to Sweet E's custom bakeshop, which traversed from delivery service to truck, and as of 10AM today the bakery launches its first brick and mortar location on S. Robertson Blvd. The space, painted in signature pink and white, offers a slew of indoor cafe tables plus bar seatage for stargazing onto Robertson. While there is a Coffee Bean (and Starbucks) up the block, Sweet E's has chosen to offer guests Coffee Bean beverages (espresso, hot chocolate, lattes, but no blended drinks) to pair with cupcakes, cakes, cookies, brownies, bars, and Sweet E's famous cake pops (balls of cake with frosting mixed in on a stick and then dipped in chocolate). Check out the space below.
