Remember that odd governmental raid of Rawesome Foods, the co-op on Rose in Venice that sells a slew of unpasteurized goods? Back in June police pulled in, guns drawn, as if it were a drug bust, meeting a flurry of confused customers and employees. Then, a few months later Stephen Colbert visited the raw milk repository for a looksee, and now Reason.tv has created this video delving into the motivation behind the raid. Check out the footage, there's a Jeremy Jackson cameo (Baywatch), apparently the Confessions of a Teen Idol star has kicked meth for (raw) milk. Other highlights include an employee describing the raid as such: "It seemed like...they thought we had cocaine in the papayas or something." Right.
