Jonathan Waxman Slated To Open LA Restaurant

So many heavy hitter culinary imports lately. Thomas Keller, Rick Bayless, Scott Conant... And now, according to Zagat, NYC's Jonathan Waxman (Barbuto) joins the crew with his own eatery set to open next year in LA. The juice came from restaurateur Michael McCarty of Santa Monica staple Michael's, according to him "Waxman misses his California friends?and the California produce." And coincidentally (or not) Waxman will cook at the massive chef blowout fundraiser LA Loves Alex's Lemonade next weekend.
