Iron Chef Morimoto's Live Loses Chef, Hits Delays

New, 1 comment

Earlier this summer came word that Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto had plans to open a restaurant called Live at the corner of Santa Monica and Vine. The Thomas Schoos-designed eatery was to serve market driven cuisine and feature a Brazilian-style rotisserie plus wood-burning oven, and in the kitchen Morimoto had appointed Troy N. Thompson who can currently be found at the L'Ermitage. Anyway, Thompson is no longer affiliated with this deal, and Eater hears that the restaurant itself is up in the air. Originally the goal was to open this month, at best the project will be pushed back until the new year, if it even comes to fruition.
