2010_11_lobstatruck-thumb.pngThe idea of eating lobster from a mobile vehicle might appeal to some and appall others, to quell speculations Eat: LA takes on the Lobsta Truck for a full review at its soft opening. First of all, these lobster rolls look suspiciously JUST like those served at Luke's Lobster in NYC (even the menu offers a similar roster of eats), fine, but how does it taste? After a 30 minute wait the verdict: "this place ('place?') is just not worth it. Prices are big, portions are small, and while the food is good, it’s not that good." Anticipate paying about $2.75 (before tax) per inch of lobster roll, the total price is $11 for an index finger-sized serving. [Eat:LA]
