La Cave Wine Bar Opening Within The Wynn on Friday

Word just in that Steve Wynn and Michael Morton (son of Morton’s Steakhouse founder Arnie Morton and the operator of the N9NE group outlets over at the Palms) will debut a wine bar called La Cave this Friday at the Wynn. The beverage program features a wide range of wines from around the world, in addition to artisanal beers and hand crafted cocktails. In the food department, the restaurant's lounge will serve house-made charcuterie and cheese, grilled tapas, and desserts.

The space was designed by 555 International who, in addition to envisioning the N9NE group’s projects, has created spaces for luxury brands such as Gucci, Chanel, Armani, and others. Here they have developed three distinct environments - a “cave", the main dining room, and the "Garden Room.” La Cave is located off the casino floor and adjacent to the Terrace Point Café and pool. — David Morris
