You know which sector of the job market still hasn't dried up, people? That's right: The intern sector. Are you an eager, perhaps college-age, person who happens to read, have a flexible schedule, and perhaps even enjoy, Eater on a daily basis? If so, this opportunity may be for you. We're looking for an intern(s) with journalism in his/her blood to join our merry band. Internship responsibilities may include but not be limited to (a) dashing to scenes of breaking news; (b) undertaking onerous, potentially soul-crushing, research projects; (c) the usual boring organization/filing efforts. The pay shall be zero dollars and some drink (proper ID req'd); the glory, extreme; the possibility for this to grow into a paid job, plausible. Timing's very flexible. Interested persons should send an email to la@eater.com with a brief description of yourself and your interest in the gig. If we like what we see, we'll get back to you quickly. Thanks.
