Restaurant Letter Grades

New, 4 comments

2010_12_healthgrades.pngHave you ever spotted a B or C heath department letter grade in a restaurant and wondered the eatery's specific infractions? Perhaps in the future this information could become readily available via mobile phone. Kern County, located North of Los Angeles, is experimenting with barcodes displayed on restaurant health letter grades. Anyone with a camera phone or QR-reading software can scan the barcode and check out the establishment's health report to decide where or not to dine. [NRN]
