1) Pacific Palisades: It appears that Italian restaurant Casa Nostra has been shuttered now for at least a month and a half or so. Per a voicemail recording, the eatery is "temporarily closed" though management is "working to try to reopen as soon as possible." Apparently CN was shut down by the health department, up above, photo evidence. [EaterWire] 2) Los Feliz: After 26 years of business, neighborhood Japanese staple Mako will shutter its doors indefinitely on December 24. Window signage reads: "To our customers Mako has been proudly serving customers for past 26 years As of December 24th 2010 we will be permanently closing our doors We would like to thank all our loyal customers for the years of business and support." 3) Downtown: Friday at 2PM Wolfgang Puck L.A. Bistro throws in the towel. The lease is up, management isn't renewing, but wait there's a silver lining. According to an employee, owners of next door's Library Bar have already scooped up the space which they will remodel and reopen as a pizza place. [EaterWire]

4) Venice: According to Yo! Venice! Air Conditioned shuttered over the weekend, of course making way for a westside outpost of Wurstkuche! [Yo!Venice!]
