Over the weekend Doomie's officially launched at the corner of Vine and Fountain bringing vegan home cooking to Hollywood. Prior to this space, owners Doomie, Amelia, and Rosie (yup, first names only) operated the original Doomie's out of Chinatown, though they shuttered that location to reopen on this side of town. Right now they're working on transferring their liquor license, so for the time being no booze. Choose from classic American eats (made vegan) like chicken salad, Philly cheesesteak, a burger, Southern fried chicken, and an assortment of pasta dishes from shrimp scampi to chicken piccata. Don't miss the deep fried Oreos for dessert. For food porn lives here.
