Well, perhaps you'll want to move to Santa Monica, where you soon may be able to raise bees, according to the Lookout News, which reports the Santa Monica City Council is considering an ordinance that would allow backyard beekeeping on single-family residential properties. Each house would be allowed to have two hives, according to the News, which reports the city is worried about the declining California bee population.
