Still in plywood mode though rounding the corner to home base comes Olive & Thyme, that upscale restaurant and gourmet shop conceived by wife and husband team Melina and Christian Davies, investors in Mozza 2Go. Since the last spot check, all appliances have gone in, cabinetry has been installed, and construction is basically finished. They've passed final inspections, are still waiting to pass the health department final, and plan to open on January 24. In addition to the stellar line up of food consultants, including Valerie Gordon of Valerie Confections and Norbert Wabnig of The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills handling cheese, Matthew Kaner (who seems to be everywhere these days) has jumped aboard to share his two cents on beer and wine. Strong team.
