NY Times restaurant critic Sam Sifton compiles a list of "the 15 best things I ate in New York City in the past year," mentioning a few stellar dishes he consumed outside of the big apple. In fact, right off the bat he tips his hat to chef Ludo Lefebvre, saying "Hoarsely I sing to the poached egg, potato mousseline and chorizo crumble I inhaled at LudoBites 5.0, in downtown Los Angeles."
