LAW reports that seven months after taking over kitchen command at Palihouse, chef Gary Menes will depart later this week to pursue his own venture. The chef joined forces with François Renaud who previously served as sommelier and GM at Cafe Stella and Palate Food + Wine. The duo are currently searching for a location, specifically a "casual counter space that everyone wants to go to." [LAW]
