Indy Week caught up with Momofuku restaurateur David Chang recently and asked him if a Vegas restaurant is in the works. Chang's response: "Oh, it's never gonna happen ... We did sign a deal. If it happens, it happens, but right now we're just focused on New York. We've flirted heavily with opening up stuff in California." When asked if San Francisco was a possibility, Chang noted: "I'd never open up in San Francisco. I'd open up in Oakland." [IW via Eater NY]
