Congratulations to the lovely and talented Padma Lakshmi on the birth of her baby girl, Krishna Lakshmi. Padma gave birth to little Krishna on Saturday night at a hospital in New York City. As you may recall, Padma had been diagnosed with endometriosis-- a condition common among women who are infertile. It is perhaps fitting then that Ms. Lakshmi named her first born after one of the biggest deities in Hindu culture. Mazel Tov! [Eater National]
