Walter Manzke Leaves Church & State, Chef Joshua Smith Starts Tomorrow!

This just in. After jumping aboard Church & State in December 2008 and turning it into an incredible foodie haunt, Walter Manze has announced that he will leave the renowned restaurant to pursue his dreams of opening his own place. After an extensive search including potential candidates from both coasts, chef Joshua Smith was hired to take over and starts tomorrow, though Manzke will stay on board for another two weeks. In the past Smith has mostly worked in Vegas at Osteria del Circo, Michael Mina at his Seablue restaurant at the MGM Grand, and most recently with Alain Giraud at Anisette. Developing... [EaterWire]
