From the inbox: "Has anyone noticed how various restaurants are arbitrarily canceling confirmed reservations over Oscar weekend in order to accommodate last minute Oscar parties? Personally - I had reservations at both Il Cielo and Ceccione's for Saturday night which have been cancelled due to restaurant buy outs. While I understand the desire to maximize revenue - is it prudent for restaurants to "stick a fork" in locals/regulars with little in return?" Thoughts? [Eater Inbox]
