From Santa Monica To Downtown, Another Mobile Food Court

Well, it didn't work in Santa Monica, but as of February 11 a new food truck gathering is planned for downtown on Alameda and Traction. Think of February 11 as a soft launch, which also happens to coincide with Artwalk. If all goes well, the trucks will continue to congregate on a daily basis, three to four trucks per day, lunch and dinner, all organized by the Vice President of SoCal Mobile Food Vendors Association, Matt Geller (who also conceived the Santa Monica lot). And on the subject of Santa Monica, Geller is still working on getting that spot back up and running. [DD]
