Ah! SIV was on to something in December when she wrote, Should food trucks fear the Bustaurant? Well, maybe they should because thanks to Worldfare, after six months of design and construction, LA is getting its very own bustaurant. Food will be crafted by Worldfare chef Andi Van Willigan, Executive Sous Chef from Michael Mina Group and Hells Kitchen. Worldfare says:
...we want to create moments, connections and inspired interactions through food. The Bustaurant seemed like an environment where this would all be possible. In the Los Angeles cultural mosaic the bus is going to bring people together through different flavors and textures of international favorites. We are taking the best of global dishes and making them accessible through Chef Andi’s interpretation on these specialties. All food served will be gourmet seasonal food with a street twist.
So, up above is a sneak peek of the vehicle (which has a full kitchen on the bottom and rooftop dining up above), however Worldfare is looking to spiffy up that bad boy, so to get your mug or design on the exterior, email five high resolution images to pics@worldfare.com within the next two days.
