Who will be the "well known" mixologist headed up First & Hope? Hot off the tipline Grub Street shares news that owners Terry Brewer and Parker Martin have hired The Edison's former beverage director Aidan Demarest to mix up the cocktail program at the forthcoming art deco-inspired supper club. Demarest and chef Shelley Cooper are currently organizing menus based on cocktail and food pairing, and just a reminder, chef Cooper will serve a version of haute Southern fare. As for cocktails, no huge shocker, think prohibition era classics. [GS]
